The officers assigned to the township are employed by the County and are dispatched from Central Dispatch. Our Deputies are Jennifer Byrd, Joshua Bandur &amp; Craig Ross. If you would like us to inspect a building site or your property while you are away from home (for the winter or for a shorter time), please call the Central Dispatch. If you need to speak to one of our deputies or for a non-emergency please call Central Dispatch at <strong>667-0292<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>Medical Emergency<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Oregon Township is a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lcems.org\/\">Lapeer County Emergency Medical Services<\/a>.\u00a0 For non-serious medical issues that require the use of an ambulance call\u00a0the LCEMS direct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at <strong>(810) 664-1499<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For \u00a0<strong>Local Fire Protection<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.lapeer.mi.us\/fire_and_rescue\/index.php\"> City of Lapeer<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marathontwp.com\/\">&#8211; Marathon Fire Authority<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire Protection Special Assessment<\/strong><br \/>With the implementation of the Fire Protection Special Assessment, effective July 1, 2010, any residents who carry a \u201crider\u201d for additional fire-run coverage on their standard homeowner\u2019s insurance policy, may contact their insurance carrier to discuss the removal of the \u201crider\u201d.
